Designated a veteran owned company headquartered in Pembroke, MA specializing in small to mid-sized survey projects. The firm started up from scratch in January of 2006 and has now grown to include, in addition to Moran himself, full time field person, part-time draftsman, and bookkeeper. Moran is totally involved in all aspects of the business from marketing, pricing, customer relations to field work and drafting. He is capable of handling residential, sub divisions and most commercial assignments including A.L.T.A. (American Land Title Association) surveys.

2004-2006
National Guard overseas deployments
US Army,  Honduras  and Iraq.
As a Pilot in Command, of UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter, flew over 250 hours in Honduras while deployed on Operation New Horizons, a nation building exercise.
As a Pilot in Command, of UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter, flew over 533 credited combat hours while stationed in Iraq with A Company 1/126 Combat Support Aviation Battalion of the 18th Aviation Brigade as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom

2003-2004
Survey project manager for residential and commercial surveying projects.  Also in charge of Construction Survey Division.

2002-2002
Survey project manager on the construction of Gillette stadium in Foxboro. Supervised 3 survey crews and coordinated all layout of the stadium from ground breaking through completion of placement of structural steel.

2000-2002
Survey Project Manager, acted as survey liaison between contractors and owners representative on Boston’s Big Dig. Responsibilities included supervising the collection of all construction survey data for large bridge, railroad and tunnel structures. Resolved any discrepancies between contractor and owners representative relating to placement of concrete structures for bridges and roadways. Supervised the placement of the 3 “Cast and Push” tunnels that run under Boston’s Fort Point Channel, and South Station.

1999-2000
Boston & Norwell, MA.
Survey Project Manager calculated and drafted survey plans from data collected by field crews. Supervised survey crews in their collection of data for land surveys.

1997-1999
Vineyard Haven, MA ,
Survey Party Chief, Draftsman, supervised the collection of field data in order to perform divisions of land. Estimated dredging volumes and prepared land surveys for the Land Court in Boston, MA.

  • About the Surveying Profession

A Land Surveyor is a design professional licensed and regulated by the Commonwealth who understands and is able to delineate the physical characteristics of land as well as retrace its legal history. Surveyors use physical inspection, measurement, applied mathematics and various computer software to measure and plot any portion of the earth’s surface, natural and man-made structures. They are also knowledgeable regarding local zoning and planning regulations, building codes, health codes, wetland regulations and general land use requirements.
